Outline of Research Paper

Introduction:

Brief history of alcohol in the United States; how it affects a person physically and mentally.

Second Paragraph:

What is going on in history at that time? The reasons of drafting the amendment in the first place; what happened? Who suggested it? What was the content of the amendment? Examples with primary sources. What were the steps involve in the development?

Third Paragraph:
The impact of the amendment that brought to the society and history of United States; economically, the perception of alcohol, the rise of gangsters, smuggling, armed robberies, etc. The debates, different point of views on the amendment over time will be discussed as well.

Fourth Paragraph:
The repeal of the eighteenth amendment by the twenty-first amendment; the reasons of the repeal and how the process went. Details of the twenty-first amendment. The law of modern time against alcohol consumption.

Conclusion:
My point of view to the whole incident, also suggesting if there is any improvement we can put on the policy. The comparison of the old policies to the new. Final thoughts.

good outline, but you did not follow the sentence outline paper that our professor gave us, but that doesn't matter i guess. The paragraphs flow well and the ideas presented give a good view of what is to come in your final paper.

I like the fact that you have an introduction and a conclusion, but your intro needs to present a strong thesis. Also please put this info into a standard outline format. Follow Mike's suggestions.
